Made from aggregates and bitumen, hot mix asphalt offers a gorgeous aesthetic improving on hot mix bitumen and can even be rendered with other types of coloured mixes, such as Stardraine®, for a unique finish. It’s called a “hot mix”, as the products used are heated before their application, often rising to 150°C during installation.
